Our Launch

After many months of planning, collaborating and travelling, we are finally ready to launch our exciting song mosaic – Community Unity. We invite you to listen and to reflect…

    I've really been enjoying reading through all of the comments that have been left behind by students in the Brooklands community in Winnipeg and Kelsey community up in The Pas.

    I'm glad that the song & video was so well received by everyone who has seen it - I must say, it was a real pleasure watching Mr. Miller and a whole lot of students putting the pieces of this song together.

    I look forward to seeing all of the ways that the Community Unity blog allows students from these two communities (and maybe more...) connect and collaborate :-)

    i live in a community called legoin ave it is very quiet there the most inportant thing is my family there are alout of vehicles my fovourite thing to do is play behind my house at the park with my brothers and sister thats all for now by.

    well trappers' festival is about when billy banock came to the pas hes the one who has the dog sleds hes so famous we are going see them on thursday and we love him

    trappers' festival is a traditional thing that happens in ThePas MB every year on Febuary 18 Saturday at kelsey community school we always do mini trapperswe do fun events like dog sled racing log throw and we have a huge bon fire we also do bannok baking and snow shoe races
