Summer



As summer starts to settle in and the school year winds down, I can reflect on some of the positive experiences we have accomplished with this project. The Community Unity project started out as an idea to develop a partnership with another community through technology and music and developed into an original song and video and interactive blogging relationship. Throughout this process, I was able to meet and work with amazing people. Our students have created and collaborated on something truly unique and we are all fortunate to have worked with each other. Thank you for participating and sharing in this project and I hope you continue to visit this site and contribute your ideas. Have a great summer!

    My school year has been great, I've met a LOT of great people. I've been able to do a lot of fun things. I'm gonna miss a lot of people, and I'm gonna miss this school. Going to Brooklands has been a great experience. I'm gonna be sure to visit lots.

    I had a very good year at Brooklands, and I'm excited to come back after the summer and be in grade 5!

    I had the most funnest year in Brooklands School!!!!!! I will miss all the teachers and staff, mostly Miss S and Mr. Miller cause they are leaving!!! I am so excited next year when I get to George Waters Middle School!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

    It has been a pleasure to work with everyone on this project! The grade five students have enjoyed checking up on the blog once in a while. Hopefully this will continue into next year. Would like to introduce a whole new group of grade fives to this next year. Sad to lose the current grade fives, but we must all move on if we are to grow.
    This summer I am planning to go all over Manitoba, visiting family and friends. Of course returning home, to do the house chores when needed. Looking forward to a break that will refresh me for a new year! Everyone enjoy their summers and keep in touch!!
